blinds high school:: quackity

alex is a very optimistic person for the most part, the life of the party if you wish. yet influenced very easily, which is the reason for his snarky/seemed as rude comments at times. he is often quiet, but loud outside of things like classrooms. he likes to speak his mind when it seems necessary, but he’s also nervous to do so. growing up without a sense of how to express emotions properly, and to acknowledge others, is quite a challenge. quackity also seems to have a type of attatchment issue. clinging onto close ones deep down and being worried at eve thing he does, and they say to him. a sudden change in tone can ruin his day and leave him stressed for god knows how long.

mom
alex’s mother is often away at work, she’s very supportive of him. but isn’t there. and struggles to understand him at times because of her lack of being around him.
dad
alex visits his dad on most school breaks, it isn’t the best on his end. but he knows his dad still loves him and is trying his best.
schlatt
schlatt has been quackity’s friend for a while, sorta. alex doesn’t know if he’s simply an acquaintance, or if schlatt even considers him a friend. schlatt means a lot to alex, having been around for a while. he’s the one the attatchment issue was projected onto. he tries his best not to express it, to not seem annoying or clingy. but alone he worries so much about what would happen if his friend wasn’t there. quackity wants to fit the energy of schlatt, which is a bit hard. schlatt tells it as it is, and doesn’t give two fucks. alex just wants him to like him. quackity only “bullies” people because he likes schlatt.
and by like, he means a bit more than a friend

*alex was born in mexico, but moved away soon after. he grew up only knowing spanish, and barely any english. as he got into school, his english was very poor. resulting in bullying and mistreatment. he slowly began learning more and more, thanks to the help of a kinder student in his class. as he got older, he was still bullied a little. but he just let it happen, schools don’t do anything about i, so what else was there to do? his mother was always working, and his dad was a few hours away. alex began discovering sexuality around middle school, and learned he liked guys. as well as girls. as he gets into high school, later on he’d acknowledge his actual feelings for a boy. but likely never dare to say anything. he hasn’t had the time to come out to family, he doesn’t know where they stand and they’re always busy.[wip]
